How hard is it to find a maxi denim skirt, you ask? Very, very hard is the answer. There are at least two denim skirts × every fashion store × every season = 923720 (insert random number to demonstrate just how absurd this situation is). Because yes, it is. I guess I could use this analogy at the start of every post. That would be fun. Not.

This Country Road one fitted me so well that I clapped after I zipped it up. I loved that it gave me a straight silhouette when I looked down (although in the pictures, it does look a bit A-shape.) In a dark wash and with a slit, it ticked all my boxes. I prefer styling this with a fitted top. With a classic white tee, I can see myself wearing this combo again and again.

I did style it with a vest too, which I thought looked cute for work – no one can say it is too informal. I am wearing half a suit – how dare they?! Actually, no..no one would care at my work.

My fitted woollen short sleeved polo t-shirt was a hit too – admittedly, I just love this t-shirt so to me, it works in EVERY situation.

However, I still wondered if I should keep it. What else did I want it to do – invoke world peace?! Now that I am thinking hard about this (I really should think this hard about more important things in my life), this skirt could lead a double life as the jeans in my life – yes, I LOVE that idea.
